'Amidst it All' is about a woman with a cloudy, mess of hair above her head. This piece expresses the idea of women's tendency to suppress their emotions in efforts to keep the peace. As the suppression builds, her head becomes an endless stormy sky of thoughts and emotions. As it stays in for too long, she may feel her spirit start to break.
